Mission Statement

Partners for Virginia's Sake works through budget policy to improve the quality of life for Virginians who are vulnerable because of the need for critical health and human services.

For Virginia’s Future…

we intend to educate the public and public officials on the impacts felt by Virginians when the Commonwealth’s investment in health and human services is inadequate to provide basic safety and security.

For Virginia’s People…

we are the voice for those vulnerable Virginians who are suffering from inadequate investment in our health and human services system, those who don’t have a voice in the decision making process.

For Virginia’s Sake…

we remind our leaders that a prosperous future requires investment that enhances our most important asset, our people. An essential measure of the quality of life in Virginia is how we help those who are in need.

The Goal:

For Virginia’s Sake - we seek to raise awareness and improve the quality of life of Virginians who are vulnerable because of the lack of critical health and human services.

The Partners:

For Virginia’s People - we are service organizations, membership associations, faith-based institutions, service businesses and caring individuals deeply concerned about the fate and future of our greatest asset, our people.

The Message:

For Virginia’s Sake…remind our leaders that a prosperous future requires investment that enhances our most important asset, our people. An essential measure of the quality of life in Virginia is how we help those who are in need.

The Audience:

For Virginia’s Future - we will deliver this message to the people of the Commonwealth and through them to the public officials.

The Strategy:

For Virginia’s Sake - we will encourage Virginians who are concerned that many in our Commonwealth are suffering greatly because of inadequate investment in our health and human services to spread the word and mobilize public support.
